Last May 26, 2012 I was able to release the first issue of Mekanismo. This is my very first indie comic and I'm very proud of what I've accomplished even though I spent weeks rushing my works. In the day of the Summer Komikon last May 26, though I was able to release my comic, I was not happy on the way it turned out. Even though I only sold a copy of it, still I was able to show my work to my fellow comic artists and to the people who passed by the table to look or browse for my comic. At last I am starting to draw the pages for the first issue of Mekanismo. I plan to release my comic in the summer komikon so I'm working on my rough layouts and started on the first page. I am also done in the design of Pintados which is the lead mech. I am also starting to redo or make some minor changes with the design of the heavy mech and the amphibious mech that appeared in the 14-page prelude I did in FreeHand 3. I am also making minor changes for the last mech that appeared in the final page of the prelude which will be featured in the first fight scenes of issue 1. The 14 page Mekanismo chapter for the 3rd issue of Freehand is now 70% done in pencils and inks..The new mech designs for the infantry units and commander type units as well as Pintados' new design will be uploaded in january. Its a busy schedule but first I must celebrate christmas! gonna resume my works on the 26th up to the first week of january for the Freehand entry and the 1st chapter of Mekanismo.
